Meat round balls (kabab) Easy Recipe




Kebab za nyama (Beef Kebab)

Ingredients for Meat round balls (Kebab)
  • Minced Beef
  • 3 slices of white bread or brown bread, crusts removed 
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
  • About 1 cup of flour for dusting
  • Chopped onion. Corriander leaves,
  • 1/2 Tbsp Black Pepper (1/2 Tbsp Cinnamon powder (Mdalasini wa unga nusu kijiko)
  •  1 Tbsp Cumin powder (Binzari nyembamba) ya unga Kijiko Cha Chakula 1
  • Chaplin kabab powder
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt

Preparation of Beef Kabab (meat round balls)
  • Soak the bread in warm water:  tear the bread into little pieces, Mash it until you get something that resembles a paste.


  • Add all ingredients chopped ginger,black pepper,corriander leaves,curry powder in the minced beef 
  • Then Add Chopped Onion,Carrot,Green Pepper
  • add Add the bread crumbs to the mixture and Mix it well with your hands until it barely combines
  • Break the two egg and add into the mixture and continue to mix till combined






  • Take a small portion of a mixture and use your hand to make a round ball like meat balls, roll the meatball in your hands




  • Put the balls in the fridge for the viungo ingredients to mix well for 30 minutes.


  •  Roll it in the flour to give it a good coating




 or You can also, Soak the round balls into the beaten egg and add into the heated oil (Optional )

Cooking/Frying

  • Heat the oil to a maximum, then put the meat balls,  Leave for 3 minutes and turn into other side   

  •   When they turn into golden brown remove them and take into sieve or tissue
