You can make chocolate easily at home, just using normal home utensils and available ingredients.
We are going to use double boiler method of cooking,in order to avoid chocolate from burning, and this method is the best for begginers.
Ingredients for Chocolate:
- 1 cup of Butter
- 1 Cup of cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of powdered salt/icing sugar/honey
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or other flavors to taste.
- Pinch of salt (optional)
DIRECTIONS
-Measure Sugar and Cocoa powder in a medium pan.
-Add water in sugar and cocoa powder and mix with spatula.
-Fill the larger pan/vessel about 1/4 full of water,
-Insert the vessel/pan that contain cocoa powder+sugar+water into cooking pan fill with 1/4 water.

-Over low heat: While heating stir the mixture slowly (As the water in the larger pan warms up,it will warm the chocolate mix) this is what we call "Double boiler method". Do not cover either the containers.Stir for 10-15 minutes or until the chocolate sauce turns.
-Remove the pan of chocolate from heat, add butter while hot, add flavors like vanilla extract.
-Blend the mixture until smooth using one of the following methods:
i)Hand whisk mixer (ii)Blender (iii)Electric hand mixer -See the pictures below!
-Pour the blended Chocolate sauce in ice cube tray, (Allow the chocolate to sit in the ice cube tray for 2-3 minutes until it is mostly set)
-Place the ice cube tray containing chocolate on flat surface in the freezer to harden it,You can keep it overnight or for 1-2 hours.
-Remove from freezer, here you can pour some peanuts or peanut butter or fresh strawberries on top as the finishing touch. Then, put back in the freezer for an hour.
-Remove the chocolate cubes from ice cube tray and Gently twist the ice cube tray to release the chocolates from the tray, ready to eat.
