How to cook Ulezi porridge

                                     

                                           


Ulezi Porridge recipe

Ingredients


  • 3 tablespoons of millet flour/ulezi
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 1/2 a cup of plain yoghurt (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons of blueband (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons of honey

                        

Method
  1. Put some water in your sufuria and bring it to a boil


2. As that is going, mix your flour with a small amount of cold water in a small cup until it forms a thick paste. 

3.Add this to the boiling water and mix
                            
  • As you are mixing, pour in your plain yoghurt/Blueband. Do not stop mixing. Add in the honey and mix some more until it all thickens.
  • Lower the heat and let this cook for about 20-25 minutes.
  •  Remove the porridge from heat 
  • Serve in your favourite bowl and top with your favourite toppings like some fresh fruits,chopped onions etc.
