Ginger Honey lemon and Cinnamon tea





This drink is a heathly weight loss drink, also Lemon is packed with vitamin C while honey acts as a cough suppressant and soothes a sore throat.

Ingredients for ginger,honey,lemon and cinnamon tea



  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 tablespoon of freshly ground cinnamon / 1 large cinnamon stick (dalasini)
  • Chopped ginger
  • 3 tablespoons of Honey
  • Water

Method of preparing Ginger,honey,lemon and cinnamon tea
  1. Squeeze the half two lemon juice


2. Add some water into a sufuria, about 500ml. Then pour in the lemon juice,ginger,cinnamon and the honey.

  • Turn down heat to simmer, covered, for 10-20 minutes.

3. Sieve the tea then serve hot. (You can add the juice of one lemon and honey to taste)
