Grilled Tilapia Fish Recipe





Grilling fishover wood or charcoal is a basic cooking technique in much of Sub-Saharan Africa.

 Ingredients:
  •  Onions
  •  Fresh ground  ginger
  • Fresh garlic ground
  •   Salt, pepper, fish masala,Lemon juice
  •  Vegetable Cooking oil




Preparation of Tilapia Fish
1.  Clean and wash the fish, and descale it if necessary.

2. Cut 2 diagonal slits of each side of each of the fish.
  • Rub all the ingredients mixture all over the fish, rubbing it into the slits and also inside the fish.
  • Leave the ingredients on the fish for at least 5 to 15 minutes Keep the fish refrigerated until ready to cook.(you can do this overnight)






Grilling Tilapia Fish:
-A medium heat should be used when grilling fish, whole or pieces. Using too high of a heat will cause some parts to cook too quickly and dry out while other parts will not be done.

- Oil the grill grate before starting the grill. If a grill basket is used to hold the fish, be sure to oil that also.
-Brush the fish with oil and grill grate with a thin coat of cooking oil to prevent sticking on the grill.



. After 3-5 minutes, turn over the fish and brush the other side with a little oil as well.
