INGREDIENTS
- Butter 11/2 cups
- White sugar 1 cup
- Brown sugar 1 cup
- Molasses 1/2 cup
- Eggs 2
- All purpose flour 4 1/2 cups
- Baking soda 4 teaspoons
- Ground ginger 2 tablespoon
- Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Put in a medium bowl, Flour, baking soda,ground ginger, ground cinnamon and salt set aside.
- Use, a mixing bowl (hand mixer or stand mixer) mix together, butter and sugars (brown and white sugar), until light and fluffy.
- Then mix in eggs and molasses and vanilla , beat well untill well combined.
- Gradually, add in the dry ingredients mixture no.1 beat untill well incorporated.
- Fold the dough in plastick paper and put in the fridge for 1 or 2 hrs.(To chill the dough)
- Transfer the dough into airtight container and put in the fridge for 1 or 2 hrs (to chill the dough)
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Roll the dough into small balls, fill the other bowl with white sugar, then roll each ball in the sugar untill it is completely coated.Then, place the balls on the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 8-10 mins, or until cookies begin to crack on top.
- Remove from the oven, let them cool for 5 mins then serve warm or Store in airtight container up to 4 days.
