Coconut - 1 cup, freshly grated
- Green Chilies - 2-3 (preferably light green variety)
- Ginger - a little
- Garlic - 1 clove (swaumu)
- Coriander leaves(giligilani)
- Onions
- Salt to taste
- And water
METHODS OF MAKING COCONUT CHUTNEY
1.Grate your coconut with a metal skewer or screwdriver (Kuna nazi).
2 &3. Blend all the ingredients {Green Chilies - 2-3, Ginger,Garlic - 1 clove (swaumu),Coriander leaves(giligilani),Onions and salt} to a smooth paste adding very little water.
