Preparing Coconut Chutney/Chatni






MAIN INGREDIENTS:

  •  Coconut

INGREDIENTS

Coconut - 1 cup, freshly grated 
  •  Green Chilies - 2-3 (preferably light green variety)
  •  Ginger - a little
  •  Garlic - 1 clove (swaumu)
  • Coriander leaves(giligilani)
  • Onions
  •  Salt to taste
  •  And water


METHODS OF MAKING COCONUT CHUTNEY

1.Grate your coconut with a metal skewer or screwdriver (Kuna nazi).




 2 &3Blend all the ingredients {Green Chilies - 2-3, Ginger,Garlic - 1 clove (swaumu),Coriander leaves(giligilani),Onions and salt} to a smooth paste adding very little water.



-Serve this coconut chutney along side with your favorite breakfast.







NOTE:
  •  Chutney, pronounced "chatni"  originated in the indian sub continent, is a concoction of fruits and/ or vegetables and spices that are made differently all over the world.
